Hello Everyone:

We never take it for granted that Duos has the privilege and honor to feed folks.  It is a mission we take happily and seriously.  Your input, support and feedback is invaluable to us.  So please, keep sharing and communicating with us regarding your ideas, your concerns, your pleasures.  Working in the food industry where we are attempting to walk this line of food justice, comfort and creativity and good food at a price that can speak to everyone, is a fascinating and constantly evolving journey.  This week, we have been working with 2 of our farmers to have an agreed upon order at a price that will work for us, our Farmers and you.  All very exciting and challenging.   

Here are some of the goodies we are cooking up for you this week:

*Balance Bowl (Vegan Option, always gluten free and you can add tofu or chicken)

*Mejadra (lentils and rice with tomato sauce and crispy onion)(GF/Vegan)

*Quinoa Croquettes with Red Cabbage and Lime Chutney (We will have both Vegan and just Vegetarian options...always GF)

*John's Perfect Turkey Meatloaf

*Pasta alla Vodka

*Ethiopian Beef Tips with Basamati Rice (GF)

*Herb Roasted Chicken(we use only Millers Chicken!)(GF)

*Mushroom Stroganoff with Parsleyed Egg Noodle (gluten free: substitute  with rice)

*Crispy Tofu Nuggets with Polenta Triangles and Collard Greens (V/GF)

*Chile (both beef and vegetarian) and Cornbread

*Of course, tasty sides of Collards, Mashed Potatoes, Killer Roasted Potatoes and Slaw(a new slaw recipe is in the works, we would love your feedback!)

Hello Dear Friends:

Wow, we really loved the Holidays. The shushing and the pot sing, the family love, the freeze and snow. But we have to admit, we are so glad to be getting back to whatever one might call "normal".

We encourage any of you guys to go look at our lovely future site at Eskenazi. We will be located right in the front area of our beautiful hospital in the midst's of the fountains and gardens. Even though we aren't there just yet, every day we are getting closer and closer and the crew has been working non stop at constructing the lovely building.

When you visit us at The Kitchen, please try to park across Illinois Street in the New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church lot. It is much appreciated by our building.
