With the lack of rain, our farmers are trying to eek out everything they can. We are still getting a fair amount of goodies: tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, green beans, herbs, arugula, beets, etc.

We know it is an honor to be fortunate enough to feed our community. We never take it for granted and are continually in a state of gratitude to see you.

Welcome to the last week of August! Just as an FYI, Duos Mobile and Kitchen will be closed Monday, September 2nd for the Labor Day Holiday.

Monday, the 26th, Duos Mobile will be vending at the Indiana Blood Center (3450 N. Meridian) for their Summer Safety Spectacular. All folks welcome to attend and get some fine food from us. We will be serving from 11-2

Thursday evening, 29th from 7-10 you can find Duos at the Riviera Club (5640 N. Illinois) for their Thursday Night Dinner event. We will be joined by some fine fellow Truckers and there will be live music, shuffleboard(of course) and a cash bar. You can find more info at: www.rivi.org. We aren't up in this neck of the woods often, so come out and spend a little summer evening with us.

What else to say but: GEN CON!!! If you want to see what a fantastic convention Indy can host, please go downtown 14-17th, walk around and take in the jolly good fun of Gen Con, the really amazing "gamers" convention. Tons of fun for the entire family with elves, zombies, Star Wars guys and all other fanciful folks hanging out, enjoying the city. Duos will be on Georgia street(along with a ton of our fellow food truckers!) Thursday the 14th for lunch and Friday the 15th for the dinner and post cocktail hour. We will be featuring a secret coded menu for the festivities that will be sure to intrigue, stimulate, satisfy and humor most all palates.
Duos continues to enjoy the good labors of our fine agricultural State. Right now, we have local: Eggs, beef, chicken, squash, herbs, blueberries, peaches, watermelon, cantaloupe, peppers, kale, corn, tomatoes,green beans, beets, cucumber....hmmm, I am sure that something is being omitted.

Who has not loved September in July?? It is rejuventating to say the least.

We continue our busy and rewarding schedule with many fun events and spots we visit with Duos Mobile and feel grateful every day when we see you walk into our Kitchen to share a little repast and time with us.

In August you can find Duos Mobile at several really great events in the City:

• August 9th and 10th you can find us at White River State Park for HART's production of the Taming of The Shrew - 6pm gathering, 8 pm the show begins
• Weekend of 15th-17th is Gen Con! So fun to ride your bike downtown and witness all the fun and festivities. We will be on Georgia street the 15th and 16th.
